The BE 4 is a cost-efficient way of monitoring and controlling a wide range of manufacturing processes. Compact, rugged and reliable, the BE 4 can be used panel mounted or bench top. Its advanced microcomputer technology means a simple, no-fuss setup and calibration procedure via the membrane keyboard.

BE 4 RELAY BOARD AND POWER SUPPLY UNIT
Din rail mounting with eight output relays rated at 240 volts, 2 amps with LED indicators. 4 x 24 volts DC inputs with LED indicators. Plant wiring terminals. +24 volt DC 500 milliamp supply. (separate power supply unit provided). Supplied with one meter input output ribbon cable to connect to the BE 4. (Dimensions L239 x W82 x H50mm).

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

The calibration procedure is very simple:-
To enter the calibration mode the "CAL" key must be held down as the power is applied to the unit (This prevents accidental alterations.)

1: LEARN ZERO
With the weigh hopper empty Press "CAL", "1", "CAL", "ENTER".

2: LEARN SPAN
Now place a test weight on the weigh hopper Press "CAL", "2", "CAL". "ENTER".

3: ENTER TEST WEIGHT VALUE
Press "CAL", "3", now use the number keys to enter the value the test weight represents.
The zero and span of the instrument are now set up.
The other parameters are set in a similar way.
